The Army Center for UAS Propulsion is seeking for a team of high school junior or senior students to build an outreach program targeted at middle to high school students (rising 7th to 9th) in the summer of 2023. The team will be expected to assemble and execute an educational program in aerospace propulsion technologies suitable for middle to high school students (rising 7th to 9th) through a one week summer internship.

Timeframe: Outreach efforts will happen between July 17-21 (Chicago). Preparation will happen prior to this for about 4-5 days during the summer (after June 1).

Qualifications: Rising or current senior/junior in high school with current GPA exceeding 3.5. Must have basic course in high school physics and calculus.

Expectations: The outreach team will be expected to develop educational outreach content in collaboration with graduate students at the Center for UAS Propulsion. The student team will execute this program towards local or extended area middle school underrepresented students near end of summer or early Fall 2023 semester.

Please include a list of science and math courses you have taken in high school along with your current school GPA.

Honorarium: A $150 honorarium will be provided in addition to all resources required in the outreach program.
