Center for UAS Propulsion Program Review & Workshop 2020

Please join us on the second CUP Program Review and Workshop at the Northwestern University on November 17-18, 2020. CUP leads research focused on discovery, innovation, and transition of Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) propulsion technologies to enable unmatched, enduring power for maneuver and mobility. The aim of the center is to address U.S. Army needs for current and future advances in UAS propulsion systems in the following 4 areas:

  • Reliability: reliable operational cycles over extended periods
  • Payload: increase power density to facilitate additional electronics, cargo and sensor packages
  • Signatures: decrease in detection by opposing parties
  • Range: increased operational range

The goal of the second CUP Program Review and Workshop is to integrate collaboration in UAS power and propulsion among ARL, academia, industry and government agencies. During this event, ARL technology area leaders and our academic partners will present their project updates and future plans. A few industry leaders will present their recent technology updates. Program will be reviewed by a group of senior industry, academia and government experts.
